The Nestlé Corporate Business Principles prescribe the values and principles Nestlé has committed to. The Code of Business Conduct aims specify and support the continued implementation of these principles by establishing certain non-negotiable minimum standards of behavior in key areas.
Nestlé has established a Compliance Reporting System called ‘Tell Us’, which provides all internal and external stakeholders with a communication channel for reporting potential instances of non-compliance with the Corporate Business Principles.
Who can access it?
All internal and external stakeholders.
How does it work?
- Via this website – Complainants will need to enter the access code 11021 to use the service. Documents may be attached to the report. The submitted report will be forwarded to Nestlé
- Via the telephone – Worldwide toll-free numbers and access codes. When using the telephone line, an access code from this list needs to be entered in order to continue. Consequently, the complainant can record a message in the voicemail system which will be transcribed and forwarded to Nestlé. The call will not be answered by an operator.
The handling procedure for both options is the same. In both cases, the complainant will receive an individual case number. This case number is a personal key to the Compliance Reporting System and to the report filed. It allows the complainant to track the progress of their case and to provide additional information. To do so, one has to return to the Nestlé website and enter the access code 11021 again.
According to Nestlé, the complainant will be informed about the progress of the processing of their concern.
